Big Data Solution - Global Bank: the bank had started to develop a big data platform to inform key strategic decision-making on resource allocation and to provide data analysis and reporting to drive key regulatory programmes and business initiatives. Initial development of the platform had been on an ad hoc basis - there were no repeatable, explainable processes, and there was a lack of control around the business and technical management of the platform. An Adsatis team was engaged to define the operating model and delivery workflow and to deliver data management tooling to support this. We also embedded DevOps and Data Engineering processes using best of breed industry practices. The solution we provided has allowed the Data Scientists to focus completely on business requirements and on extracting value from the data, enabling utilisation of the data to be scaled significantly, and optimal value to be extracted.
Finance Programme - Global Bank: the bank had recently introduced a new Finance platform for its global business and was experiencing problems with the availability and timeliness of reporting that was required for regulatory purposes, and for broader CFO requirements. An Adsatis team was deployed to undertake a root cause analysis, to identify how the issues identified could be addressed, and to implement the necessary changes to system and manual processes. The team implemented agreed targeted specific improvements which improved the quality of the reporting, and improved access to the data. Operational processes were streamlined and costs significantly reduced.
