Adsatis is an independent specialist management consultancy operating in the financial sector – the company was established in 1993 and is based in the City of London. 

We draw on the skills of more than 50 experienced practitioner-consultants to provide expertise to clients located in the UK and around the world.  Our aim is always to put the client first. 

 

The Team

The Adsatis team is made up of seasoned practitioners, most recruited from the industry with extensive experience of global financial markets, the institutions that operate in them and the work they do.

The name?

ad satis is simply the Latin root of the word ‘asset’; (n) a person or thing that is valuable [From Latin ad to, and satis enough].

Regulatory Change We have recently produced a white paper “Swaps landscape” that assesses the impact on the swaps market of the new regulation. The objective of the white paper is to provide some insight into likely future developments in the market place, the emergence of SEFs and the impact of this on market participants.
Sales performance management benchmarking We will be running the Adsatis Sales Credit SurveyTM in Q2/Q3 this year and are currently talking with banks across the industry to finalise participation and the scope of the survey. Previous surveys have enjoyed the support of up to 20 banks including most of the major dealers.
OTC Derivatives

We have undertaken a comprehensive industry study to determine the impact of regulation on the OTC derivatives business. More than 40 industry experts participated in the study spanning a complete range of financial institutions and market participants including regulators, banks, investors, clearing houses and exchanges. Basel III

In conjunction with industry expert Bill Allen, we have recently completed a study entitled Basel III, Bank Liquidity and Business Models. This paper is written to contribute to the debate on Basel III proposals. It represents the views of the author, and also incorporates analysis and views from Adsatis consultants and feedback from a number of senior bankers. Basel III White Paper

Survey of the new CCPs for Credit Default Swaps  Adsatis has just completed the first detailed comparison of the new CCP offerings for the CDS market.  This was completed on behalf of ISDA and published by them at their AGM in Beijing.
